Sip and Savor: Charity Cheese and Wine Event Supporting Great North Air Ambulance

Thank you to everyone who came along to support the Charity Cheese & Wine Evening at Old Hutton Village Hall last Friday, held in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

Adrian Braddon, our sommelier for the night, selected a wonderful range of wines for guests to enjoy, paired with fantastic charcuterie boards prepared by Hazel Mason and her family.

The evening’s raffle was a real highlight, with prizes generously donated by local and national businesses, as well as by members of the community. Additional contributions came from Winter Tarn Dairy, who kindly provided all the butter, and Silver & Green, who supplied olives and balsamic onions.

We were also deeply moved by a £500 cheque sent by a lady from Kirkby Lonsdale who was airlifted to hospital. She wished to express her gratitude to the Air Ambulance for saving her life.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, the event raised an incredible £1,200 for GNAAS.
