Village Events
Old Hutton is a vibrant and social community that takes delight in hosting a variety of events! Whether it's our monthly film club, quiz night, or themed gatherings, everyone is welcome to join in the fun. The Village Pub will be open during these events, serving a selection of drinks including beer on tap, wine, cider, and soft drinks.

Old Hutton Easter Hunt
Join us on 3rd April for an Easter Egg Hunt around Old Hutton Village! All egg hunters should gather at the Public Hall at 11:00am on Good Friday before setting off on a fun hunt around the village (approximately one mile). After the adventure, we’ll meet back at the hall at 12:30pm for juice and biscuits, where successful hunters can collect their well-earned prizes. We hope to see lots of eager egg hunters there!
Tickets are £3.00 per child
Ceilidh Spring Fling
Join us on Saturday 28th March at Old Hutton Public Hall for a lively evening with music from the Eskrigg Ceilidh Band, running from 7–11pm. Enjoy great company, dancing, and a traditional Jacob’s Join, and the Drop Inn Bar will be open throughout the evening for drinks.
Tickets are £16 for adults and £8 for under 16s. For tickets or more information, please contact Chris Nelson on 07761 930627.
Nik, a local resident, established The Drop Inn in the Old Hutton Public Hall. The locals take great pride in our charming pub. Open during all events held at the public hall, The Drop Inn offers a selection of beer on tap, cider, wine, and soft drinks. Join us for a drink, mingle with your neighbours, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of our community pub. Cheers to fostering connections and building friendships!
Hire the Hall
The Old Hutton Public Hall offers two versatile spaces for rent: the main hall and a small meeting room. The hall features a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a double oven, hob, dishwasher, and all necessary cutlery and crockery. For added convenience, The Drop Inn pub can also be opened as an additional service, providing draught beer and other refreshing beverages. Whether for a large event or a more intimate gathering, our facilities cater to your needs with a blend of functionality and hospitality.
